Paris Saint-Germain supporters have tried to forget about last season’s shocking loss to Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League but Marcus Rashford certainly hasn’t.
The English striker was the one who scored a late penalty that put the Red Devils up 3-1 over PSG and leveled the aggregate scored at 3-3 (United would advance to the quarter-finals via the away goal rule).
Rashford marked the one-year anniversary of the historic win in Paris on Friday (March 6) by posting a photo on Instagram of him taking the penalty and sharing that memory with his 8 million followers.
Neymar Jr. is one of those followers and after seeing the infuriating photo and being reminded of the anniversary, the PSG superstar responded with an expletive and a couple of emojis.
This Wednesday, Neymar and PSG have a chance to pull off a comeback victory of their own in the Champions League. Borussia Dortmund defeated the Ligue 1 leaders 2-1 in the first leg and the battle between the two sides at the Parc des Princes promises to be a special one. Hopefully, it will be a night Dortmund players will want to forget.
