Keylor Navas has been everything Paris Saint-Germain supporters thought he would be when he signed last summer from Real Madrid and maybe even more.
As good as Navas has been for PSG, he is 33-years-old and while goalkeepers can typically play longer than outfield players, it’s important that the club find a successor who can step in at the first sign of decline.
According to journalist Nicolò Schira, PSG have made contact with super-agent Mino Raiola about the potential of signing AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma.
#Milan are thinking of selling Gigio #Donnarumma to fix their corporate balance sheet. #RealMadrid, #PSG and #Chelsea have already made contacts with #Raiola and are ready to offer a salary of €8M a year to the goalkeeper. #Juventus observe carefully how the situation unfolds

This isn’t the first time Donnarumma has been linked with PSG and the club’s sporting director, Leonardo, will be familiar with the 21-year-old from his time with Milan where he held the same title.
Donnarumma’s contract expires in 2021 and with Milan likely to not qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League, the Serie A side could be looking to move the goalkeeper on in order to get something for him before he can leave on a free transfer.
Transfermarkt rates Donnarumma at €55 million and Schira reports that the Italy international will command a salary of €8 million per year. That’s a hefty fee to pay for a player who will play sparingly with Navas still performing at a high level.
If I were to bet, I would say one of the other teams linked with Donnarumma—Real Madrid and Chelsea FC—will make a move for the Milan man this summer and PSG will be more than happy to stick with Navas.
