Edinson Cavani is Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time leading scorer with 200 goals to his name. Against Dijon FCO on Saturday at the Parc des Princes, El Matador had an opportunity to add to his tally but ended up doing this instead:

Kylian Mbappé did all of the hard work and played a low cross into the box for Cavani who made one of his great runs towards goal. Unfortunately, that’s where Cavani’s brilliance ended.
The Dijon defender was well behind Cavani and with the entire goal to aim for, the Uruguay international blasted his shot over the crossbar from just a few feet away. It’s one of the more indescribable misses from Cavani who has had more than a few throughout his career.
The goal would have put PSG up 2-0 over Dijon but instead, Pablo Sarabia’s goal in the 3rd minute remains the difference in the match.
