Video: Sarabia Smashes Home PSG’s First Goal Against Dijon

It didn’t take Paris Saint-Germain long to find a goal against Dijon FCO at the Parc des Princes.

In the third minute of the match, Kylian Mbappé made a great run down the right flank and played a tantalizing cross into the box for Edinson Cavani. El Matador was unable to get his head on the pass and it was temporarily cleared by the Dijon defense.

Marquinhos was on the receiving end of the sub-par clearance and bounced a shot toward goal (or was it a pass?). Realizing that the attempt was off target, Pablo Sarabia stuck out a foot and his first touch was enough to beat Rúnar Rúnarsson.

The goal was Sarabia’s 13th of the season and his fourth in Ligue 1. With Angel Di Maria being subbed off in the 17th minute with what looked like a muscle injury, Sarabia could start on March 11 against Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.
