Video: Kylian Mbappé Shows Off His Incredible Dribbling Skills Against Lyon

During Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 win over Olympique Lyonnais at the Parc des Princes on Sunday, there was a comical own-goal from the visitors that was set up by Kylian Mbappé.

The Frenchman’s run down the sideline shortly after halftime put Lyon back on their heels and his pass to Julian Draxler eventually led to a comical own-goal from Lyon’s Fernando Marçal.

Mbappé’s attack is what I want to talk about though. Look at the way he’s able to beat Rafael with a drag-back move before blowing past him with his world-class speed.

That’s what makes Mbappé such a special player. He’s not just a “pace merchant” as some on Twitter will have you believe. He has incredible technical ability, precision finishing skills, and yes, he’s probably in the top three of the fastest footballers in the world.

Those who watch Mbappé on a regular basis will know this kind of move is typical of the 21-year-old and he typically does this once or twice during a match.

After the win over Lyon, PSG’s sporting director, Leonardo, celebrated the fact that he has Mbappé at PSG.

“…he is an adorable person, also a very committed person and he is a fantastic player.”

Up next for PSG is Dijon FCO and Amiens SC before taking on Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League next Tuesday.
