PSG and Jordan Release First Collection Made for Women

In 2018, the first collection between Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan began hitting various stores around the world. Since then, the collaboration has released a variety of jerseys, shirts, sweaters, and other products; however, nothing specifically made for women.

This season, when the PSG x Jordan collaboration was announced, players from the men’s and women’s squad were featured in the marketing photos and videos. The collection is unisex so members of the PSG Féminine team wore clothes primarily targeted for a male audience.

Nonetheless, this is all set to change, for the first time in the partnership between the Parisian squad and basketball brand, they’ve announced a women’s collection.

Players such as Nadia Nadim, Marie-Antoinette Katoto, Sara Däbritz, and Grace Geyoro helped model the new products, which include dresses, hoodies, leggings, and more.

Furthermore, like all the products in the collaboration, they’re stylish and don’t make it seem as they’re for women. Many times you’ll see sports teams use a heavy dosage of pink or glitter to make it clear that its a product for women.

That’s not the route that PSG and Jordan took; they made it clear that if they’re making stylish clothing for men, then they’ll do the same for the women.

We’ve seen plenty of male athletes wearing the PSG x Jordan collaboration since the arrival of the first collection two years ago; it’s safe to say that now we will see female athletes wear the Parisian logo more frequently going forward.
