Neymar Jr. doesn’t turn 28 years old until February 5, but that didn’t stop him from celebrating a few days early at a private event in Paris on Sunday.
A day after defeating Montpellier HSC 5-0 at the Parc des Princes, Neymar was joined by family, friends, teammates, and even opponents at the Yoyo nightclub at the Palais de Tokyo.
According to a report from Le Parisien, Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes were the first to arrive at the party. Surprisingly, Olympique Lyonnais forward Memphis Depay was the next to show up followed by Ander Herrera.
All attendees, which included Edinson Cavani, Mauro Icardi, Marco Verratti, Marcin Bulka, Thiago Silva, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting arrived wearing white as per the party’s theme.
Kylian Mbappé, on the heels of his disagreement with Thomas Tuchel, showed up late after attending an event at Disneyland Paris.
The French publication reported that no one in PSG leadership was spotted entering the party, which shouldn’t be surprising considering manager Thomas Tuchel called the event a “distraction.”
Here are some of the best images of players arriving in the rain to Neymar’s 28th birthday party. Hopefully, they didn’t stay out too late. PSG has an away match against FC Nantes on Tuesday.
