Video: Neymar’s Effortless Long-Range Pass to Mbappé is a Thing of Beauty

What more can be said about Neymar Jr. that hasn’t already? The Brazilian is simply a superb footballer and this pass in the first half against AS Monaco is just the latest example of what makes him great.

On Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain traveled to the Stade Louis II to face Monaco in a makeup game from last December when the fixture was canceled due to extreme weather.

Already up 1-0, in the 28th minute, Neymar nearly assisted Kylian Mbappé for another goal with a brilliant long-range pass that landed softly on the foot of his teammate. The Frenchman’s shot following the pass was saved by Benjamin Lecomte so it won’t make all of the highlights but it definitely deserves a place here on PSG Talk.

Earlier in the match, Mbappé was the one assisting Neymar for an incredible shot attempt but Neymar’s backheel was saved again by Lecomte.

The dynamic duo continues to improve on the pitch and their ability to create chances at will should bode well for the club as they compete in four competitions in the second half of the season.
