Official Lineup: Fantastic Four Looks For Redemption Against Monaco

For the second match against AS Monaco in three days, Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel made several changes to his starting lineup.

With several defenders out of the squad for this game, Tuchel made the most adjustments to his defense. Keylor Navas started in goal as usual, but in front of him, Layvin Kurzawa and Colin Dagba started in the full-back position with Presnel Kimpembe returning from injury alongside Thiago Silva.

In the midfield, Idrissa Gueye gets the nod and he will be responsible for closing down Monaco’s dangerous attackers with youngster Tanguy Kouassi. The 17-year-old Frenchman gets the start with Ander Herrera and Marco Verratti resting on the bench.

The Fantastic Four (Mauro Icardi, Angel Di Maria, Kylian Mbappé, and Neymar Jr.) remain as they did in the last match against Monaco and it will be a chance for them to quiet those who think PSG cannot play in a 4-4-2 formation. It will be up to them to show they’re willing to track back and help on defense. Last Sunday when these two met at the Parc des Princes, Monaco scored three goals and created plenty of chances with all of the space left behind the feared foursome.
