Only someone with extreme prejudice would deny Kylian Mbappé the praise he rightfully deserves for his unbelievable ability on a football pitch.
On Wednesday night against FC Nantes, the Frenchman once again proved why he is a future Ballon d’Or winner.
If you haven’t already seen his acrobatic backheel for PSG’s first goal on the night, you absolutely need to carve out some time to do that.
That unbelievable bit of skill wasn’t Mbappé’s only flash of brilliance on the night. There were several but one that caught my eye was right before halftime where he seemingly made the ball stick to his foot as he attempted to dribble around the Nantes defender.
The subsequent cross didn’t amount to anything but take nothing away from that bit of skill from Mbappé.
Paris Saint-Germain went on to win the match 2-0 as Neymar Jr. tacked on a penalty to secure the three points and move five points clear at the top of the table.
