Sarabia, who scored in PSG’s final two UEFA Champions League games against Real Madrid and Galatasaray S.K., was very active from the opening whistle and was arguably PSG’s best threat going forward.
The Spaniard eventually found his goal off an Angel Di Maria cross into the box. His first attempt was cleared by Di Maria tried a second time and his ball fell perfectly to Sarabia who volleyed his shot into the back of the net for his fourth goal for the club since arriving last summer. The assist was Di Maria’s 11th of the season in all competitions.
The lead should put PSG even more at ease against the Ligue 2 side as they look to advance in the tournament that will cease to exist after this season. Follow us on Twitter @PSGTalk for more on this match.
