After being beaten and battered for the majority of the game, things opened up a bit for Les Parisiens when Pedro Mendes was sent off for Montpellier in the 72nd minute reducing them to 10 men.
With a free-kick just outside the box, Neymar took his time and perfectly placed his show just out of the reach of the diving Gerónimo Rulli.
Neymar, who spent the majority of the match being kicked, elbowed, shoved, and choke-slammed, celebrated his goal by hushing the crowd. His goal was the perfect answer to Montpellier’s rugby tactics.
