It didn’t take long for PSG to strike. In the 10th minute, Thomas Meunier cleared an Amiens cross into the box to Mauro Icardi. The Argentine flicked the ball to Neymar Jr. who then picked out a streaking Mbappé who did the rest. It only took three touches to free Mbappé.
Once the 21-year-old Frenchman received the ball on the run, no one could catch him and he calmly chipped Régis Gurtner for the goal.
Amiens has never defeated PSG at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1 play and it doesn’t look like that is going to change today.
