Video: Mbappé Scores Game-Winning Goal Against Montpellier

Two minutes after Neymar Jr. tied the game at 1-1, Kylian Mbappé scored a goal of his own to put Paris Saint-Germain up 2-1 over Montpellier HSC and secure the three points away from the Parc des Princes.

Mbappé, who drew the foul on Pedro Mendes that ultimately led to the Montpellier man being sent off with a second yellow in the 72nd minute, scored a fantastic individual goal past the diving Gerónimo Rulli in goal.

It was a powerful blast that must have felt good. Moments before, Mbappé was on the receiving end of a harsh challenge that left his ankle bloodied.

Throughout the entire match, Montpellier’s intentions were clear. They intended to rough up PSG’s skill players but fortunately, the referee eventually took action and starting sending players off. Once that happened, the goals rained down from PSG.
