Ezequiel Lavezzi arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2012 from Napoli and spent four seasons in the French capital where he scored 35 goals and recorded 24 assists in 161 appearances. On Friday, the Argentine announced his retirement from the game at the age of 34 according to Goal.
Lavezzi, who spent his final seasons with Hebei China Fortune after leaving PSG, won four Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France trophies, and three Coupe de la Ligue trophies during his tenure with Les Parisiens. He was one of sporting director Leonardo’s signings that summer along with Thiago Silva, Marco Verratti, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
