Video: Di Maria Scores Ridiculous Goal From Distance Against Le Mans

Paris Saint-Germain picked up right where they left off in the opening 45 minutes against Le Mans with a goal just minutes after halftime to put PSG up 4-0 and all but confirm their place in the next round of the Coupe de la Ligue.

Down 3-0, Le Mans tried to launch an attack from the back but Tanguy Kouassi blocked an attempted pass at midfield and played a pass of his own to Angel Di Maria. That turned out to be a great decision by the 17-year-old.

The Argentine, from way outside the box, blasted a shot that dipped just in front of Le Mans goalkeeper Pierre Patron who wouldn’t handle the ball and allowed it to trickle into the back of the net.

The goal brings Di Maria tally to 10 in all competitions and he also has 11 assists. It’s been a great season for the former Manchester United castaway and he figures to play a prominent role for PSG in the second half of the season.

At 4-0, PSG has now scored 16 goals in their last four games. That’s the PSG I know and love.
