Paris Saint-Germain returned the pitch at the Parc des Prince as they had the weekend off due to the postponing of their match against AS Monaco.
Against FC Nantes, PSG did struggle to score, but they finally broke through in the 41st-minute via a Neymar Jr. blast inside the box, or so they thought. After the referee went to take a look, a high boot from Julian Draxler would result in a no-goal ruling.
The VAR decision would lead to many on Twitter sharing their thoughts on the terrible ruling by the referee. Safe to say, not many were happy with the decision.
Go and check out Neymar’s goal for PSG which was ruled out by VAR. Absolutely embarrassing. Decisions like that will make the sport non-contact!

The biggest transfer in January could be the transfer of funds from PSG to whoever is in charge of deciding VAR decisions. #PSGFCN

The second half was a little kinder to PSG as they would finally break the goalless draw courtesy of Kylian Mbappé. His unbelievable backheel goal lifted the spirits of PSG Twitter and all was right with the world once again.

Ooh, Kylian Mbappé just scored a spectacular goal for PSG. #PSGFCN

After Mbappé opened up the scoring, Neymar would eventually get in on the action converting a penalty kick to give PSG an eventual 2-0 win. However, what followed would become more newsworthy as the Brazilian received boos after coming off the pitch. As many would expect, this led to plenty of people sharing their thoughts on the matter as it overshadowed the win over Nantes.
Neymar booed off by the Ultras as much because it is him as it is Cavani coming on to replace him. #PSGFCN

For those asking, Neymar was booed pre-match… Just not that much as it is not exactly packed to the rafters here! #PSGFCN
— Jonathan Johnson (@Jon_LeGossip) December 4, 2019
I'm so fucking angry…
The refs job is NOT to even up the match so that Nantes have a chance. This happens week after week in the league. There is a reason Neymar wanted to leave Ligue 1, and why most top players don't want to come. It's not talent, it's the officiating #PSGFCN

Neymar scores and the crowd chants for Edinson Cavani.
Do you all want to lose games or something? #PSGFCN

Neymar still getting booed by PSG Ultras I hear. pic.twitter.com/Sa5S6OwmE3

Neymar tried a lot to help a team, made an decisive pre-assist and scored a goal but was booed, and Cavani, who just doing nothing in the pitch, missed a goal and whose father criticized a club was cheered. Wtf @Co_Ultras_Paris
