Video: Sarabia Scores for PSG as Real Madrid Blow a 2-0 Lead

Paris Saint-Germain snatched defeat from the jaws of Real Madrid on Tuesday night at Kylian Mbappé and Pablo Sarabia scored late in the second half to secure the 2-2 draw and clinch the top spot in Group A of the UEFA Champions League.

The goal from Sarabia came two minutes after Mbappé’s and just like that, Real Madrid had blown a 2-0 lead at home in what is easily their best performance of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain sliced through Real Madrid’s defense with Neymar Jr. leading the way. The Brazilian came on after halftime and he was the catalyst for the equalizer.

Take nothing away from Sarabia though. His finish from distance was supremely difficult and he could have easily blasted his shot over the crossbar.

With the goal, the narrative went from PSG falling flat again in the Champions League to them having the mental strength to battle back in a hostile environment. If this were the knockout phase, PSG would have advanced 5-2 on aggregate.
