Kylian Mbappé has scored more than 50 goals in Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain since arriving in the summer of 2017 from AS Monaco. He’s been everything supporters thought he would be and then some.
It’s hard for me to pick out a favorite goal of his that he scored in Ligue 1 but our friends at Dugout took up the difficult task and selected three outstanding Mbappé goals that you just have to see:
The first goal was at home against Olympique Lyonnais last season and it was a great move by Neymar Jr. and Mbappé. The Frenchman displayed his world-class speed and deadly accuracy when he gets in front of the goal.
The second goal was from last season as well but this time, PSG was on the road against Nîmes Olympique. Presnel Kimpembe played an unbelievable long-ball to Mbappé who settled the pass with his first-touch, let the ball bounce once, and then blasted a shot into the back of the net. My favorite part about this goal is the PSG Ultras who were right behind the goal and the 20-year-old celebrating in front of them.
The final goal came from another away match against AS Saint-Etienne. Dani Alves chipped a pass to Mbappé in the box and the Bondy-native volleyed a shot past the keeper. This was a great example of Mbappé’s ability to score by being in the right place at the right time and not relying on his pace as much.
