Lille had been pressuring PSG for the opening 10 minutes and even tested Keylor Navas with a powerful shot that the Costa Rican had to dive to save. In the 17th minute though, PSG would take control of the match.
Assisted by Idrissa Gueye with the cross, Icardi once again found himself in the right place at the right time for his 10th goal in all competitions for PSG. Reminder, he joined the capital club on the last day of the summer transfer window!
Unfortunately for Edinson Cavani, who started the match on the bench, Icardi’s form doesn’t seem to be taking a dip any time soon.
