The 2-2 draw between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid was a thriller. After surrendering the first goal, a questionable VAR decision, and Real Madrid going up 2-0, it felt as though PSG were destined to lose.
Quite frankly, many supporters of the capital club have seen this movie before. They are trailing on the road and in a close match. Then, when a referee decision goes against them, PSG spiral out of control. Usually, if they can climb out of a hole, Les Parisiens fall short like they did at Anfield against Liverpool FC last season; however, this match was different.
PSG was able to score twice in a span of a few minutes, shocking everyone at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and even the supporters of the club. It was a welcome sight, PSG was able to battle through adversity and walk out with a favorable result, on the road no less. With the draw, PSG has won Group A despite one match remaining against Galatasaray SK in a few weeks.
