PSG and Manchester United Rumored to be Interested in Cristiano Ronaldo

The honeymoon periods appears to be over for Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus FC.

After being substituted off in the past two matches against Lokomotiv Moscow in the UEFA Champions League and AC Milan in Serie A, Ronaldo showcased his frustration with manager Maurizio Sarri.

There was some name-calling by Ronaldo and he stormed off the pitch when substituted off leading some to believe Sarri’s decision had caused irreplaceable damage.

Ronaldo has since come out and backed the manager’s decision, as reported by the Daily Mail, and revealed that he has been playing injured.

“Everyone knows that I don’t like to be substituted, but there was no problem in my gestures after the change. I tried to help Juventus by playing injured,” Ronaldo said.

The dust-up has triggered the transfer rumor mill though and Don Balon is leading the charge with their article claiming Ronaldo has two teams to choose from if he wants out of Turin: Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

This isn’t the first time PSG has been mentioned in transfer rumors regarding Ronaldo. As one of the few glamour clubs that can afford his wages, it’s only natural the reigning French champions would be brought up anytime it appears Ronaldo is unhappy with his current surroundings.

This current rumor may be completely made up, but it does bring up an interesting scenario. With rumors swirling regarding the future of Neymar Jr. and Kylian Mbappé, it’s unlikely both will leave in one transfer window but if one of them does, sporting director Leonardo would have the cash to bring in a player like CR7 to replace them.

Personally, I can’t imagine why Ronaldo would want to not be teammates with Adrien Rabiot anymore but to each their own I suppose.
