Photos: The Hechter Shirt Returns; PSG’s 2020-21 Kit Leaked

The 2020-21 season for Paris Saint-Germain will be their 50th in existence and according to Footy Headlines, the club will honor their semi-centennial with a throwback kit.

The leaks on social media are hardly official, but the watermarked images do offer a glimpse into the direction the club and Nike are headed for the historical season.

Older fans of PSG will be especially pleased if this design choice is to come to fruition. The retro kit is an homage to the original “Hechter shirt,” which was designed by former club president Daniel Hechter and has come to signify the tradition look of PSG.

With the success of this season’s white third kit, which also has a vintage look, a traditional home kit will likely find a place in the collections of most PSG supporters.

Speculation on social media predicts the official kit will be announced in May 2020.
