Keylor Navas was the expected starter and Thomas Tuchel confirmed his place in the team about an hour before kickoff, however, the club announced just minutes before the game would begin that the Costa Rican would not start.
Injured in warmups according to PSG’s official Twitter account, Navas was held out of the side and Sergio Rico was named the starter.
With this latest injury to Navas, the goalkeeper position is a bit of an issue at the moment. RMC Sport journalist Loïc Tanzi reported on Twitter that Marcin Bulka was also injured and couldn’t make the trip to Brest leaving PSG with only Rico and Garisonne Innocent.

The story of the season so far for PSG has been injuries so it’s no surprise another regular starter has gone down. Nothing is ever easy for Paris Saint-Germain.
