Mauro Icardi scored the game-winning goal against Galatasaray S.K. in the UEFA Champions League last Tuesday and today, he scored an absolute beauty of a goal against Angers SCO to put Paris Saint-Germain up 2-0 at the Parc des Princes.

The goal started when Neymar Jr., who had been fouled for most of the game, received a pass from Marco Verratti just outside the box. With some quick footwork, he was able to break away from the defender and picked out an inch-perfect pass to Pablo Sarabia who was making a great run into the box.
Sarabia’s first-time pass across the face of goal nearly found Idrissa Gueye, but the Senegal international couldn’t sort out his feet and the pass ultimately fell to Icardi who blasted his shot into the roof of the goal.
It was another poacher’s goal from Icardi who specializes in that kind play. The Argentine made it look very easy but he could have very easily skied that into the stands. Instead, his goal doubled PSG’s lead and it was his first Ligue 1 goal for the club.
