When it was revealed that Paris Saint-Germain would play Galatasaray S.K. in the UEFA Champions League, many pointed to the away match in Istanbul as one that could potentially cause troubles for PSG. Not because of the Turkish side’s quality, but because of their infamous fans who relentlessly support their club.
PSG Talk correspondent Lee Davey traveled to Istanbul for Matchday 2 of the Champions League and documented his entire trip. From the airport to inside the enclosed away supporters section, Davey brings you as close to the action as possible without actually being there. His reaction to the Galatasaray supporters? Well, let’s just say he was impressed with what he saw:
