In light of a slow news week due to the international break, PSGTalking co-hosts David and Guillaume (ofthedoor on Reddit) have co-written and co-produced an English supporters’ guide to a key piece of Paris Saint-Germain’s history. This audio guide—brief as it is—is intended to share with a new audience the story of the Auteuil and Boulogne kops, and unravel the complicated politics behind the ultras’ return to the Parc des Princes. We hope that, especially for post-Qatar fans of the club, this can offer a fresh perspective on the identity of Parisian football.
We offer special thanks to Jazzy Bazz, whose credits song “Ultra Parisien” is available for purchase here.
As always, if you want to see more snippets of the club’s history, reach out to us on Twitter or here in the comments. We read and appreciate all feedback. If you want more audio content, you can find the regular podcast on iTunes and Google Play. Thanks for listening!
