Hugo Ekitike has drawn a lot of interest from the Premier League. However, the clubs vying for the 21-year-old striker haven’t presented an offer allowing Paris Saint-Germain to give the green light.
As the minutes tick by, Ekitike leaving seems unlikely. Foot Mercato’s Santi Aouna reports that West Ham United have tried a new approach in recent hours for Ekitike. The Hammers wanted to offer a loan paying €5 million and €30 million purchase option. Still, this option was refused by the Parisians.

Furthermore, RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reports that Ekitike will stay at PSG. The Ligue 1 giants turned down loan offers from Crystal Palace and West Ham.

Ekitike rumors have been heating up over the last few weeks, but the French club reportedly wanted a permanent sale and no loan offer with an option to purchase.
With the transfer window shutting down, he will likely stay and move in January if an interest club puts in an enticing offer for the Frenchman. Still, with few minutes at PSG, many will wonder why Ekitike didn’t choose to lower his salary to make it easier for a transfer.
