The contract extension talk regarding Kylian Mbappé continues to be a hot topic of discussion. The Spanish media reports that the 22-year-old will likely be heading to Real Madrid whether this summer or next when his contract with the capital club expires.
Former Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum was presented by Paris Saint-Germain and interviewed with RMC Sport. The 30-year-old answered a question regarding his new teammate and if he wants to see him extend his contract.
“Everyone wants him to stay, starting with me because he is one of the reasons that made me come to PSG, to play with players like him. I was already very happy to see that Neymar had extended. But I have also been in this position and most of the time you follow your feeling.”
“I just hope his goes to PSG because the club is doing their best to make this team the best in the world. They also have good midfielders, good defenders. The whole team is quality and I’m excited and looking forward to training with them, and even more so after being told what kind of group it was.”
