Sarabia Downplays Any Rumored Issues Between PSG Players and Manager Tuchel

Paris Saint-Germain attacking talent Pablo Sarabia is debunking any such rumored tension between the players and manager Thomas Tuchel.

PSG is coming off of two cup final wins that clinched them yet another domestic treble. At the moment, the team looks united and focused as they all prepare for the resumption of the UEFA Champions League knockout stage and the start of the Ligue 1 season later this month. In an exclusive interview with RMC Sport, Sarabia spoke about the team’s unity and once again downplayed the rumored issues between the players and the German manager.

“All the rumors and all the things that are being said, the problems between the players and the coach are attempts to destabilize,” Sarabia said. “The match against Dortmund, our titles, our domination in the league are proof that the group is united. Not only the players, but also the coach, the staff, we are all going in the same direction. That’s what we are doing. We have already won four out of four titles and we can still win the Champions League. There are no different visions, we are all going in the same direction.”

This message is one that has been echoed by other teammates as well. PSG sure does need to maintain this mindset of trust and togetherness now that it prepares for next week’s season-defining fixture against Atalanta.
