Video: Irene Paredes Discusses PSG Féminine’s Return to Action

Paris Saint-Germain Féminine is in the middle of their training after returning from quarantine due to the coronavirus. The squad is preparing for the resumption of the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Coupe de France semi-final.

Les Parisiennes will be taking on Arsenal FC in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and as the squad continues to prepare for the matchup, they’ll have a friendly against FC Twente on Friday.

PSG TV recently caught up with the club’s captain, Irene Paredes and the 29-year-old talked about returning to the training grounds and finding their rhythm with their upcoming matches.

“It’s nice to find everyone. We wanted to come back to start training again. It was long, but finally, we got there, and we start the preparation thoroughly,” Paredes said. “We did not forget during this period that we had important matches. Now it’s just physical recovery, being able to touch the ball and be together. After that, it will come back.”
