‘Allegri Tracked by PSG? Obviously’ – French Journalist Believes Tuchel is on the Hot Seat

Last month, former Juventus FC manager Massimiliano Allegri, went on the record to say that if he had to coach outside of Italy, that his preferred choice would be Paris Saint-Germain.

It’s not something that Thomas Tuchel wants to hear considering Leonardo, the capital club’s sporting director didn’t hire him. Furthermore, with the Brazilian having a fondness for Serie A, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if Leonardo decides to go after Allegri.

French sports journalist Carine Galli was on La Chaîne L’Equipe (via ParisFans), where he went on to say that Tuchel should be worried that Allegri could potentially replace him.

“Allegri tracked by PSG? Obviously, Thomas Tuchel must worry. Admittedly, there was the coronavirus crisis, which was rather favorable to Tuchel. But we can’t forget everything that happened with this coach,” Galli said. “A failed and disappointing first season, a second season with risky choices in the first leg against Dortmund even if there was a qualification in the second leg.”

Tuchel bought himself some time as the manager for Les Parisiens after helping the squad punch their ticket into the quarter-finals after defeating Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Nonetheless, one hiccup from the German manager and Leonardo could decide to bring in his guy to coach PSG.
