Report: PSG Youth Product Leaning Towards Heading to AC Milan

With the recent developments that Adil Aouchiche is likely heading to AS Saint-Étienne, Paris Saint-Germain needs to pull all the stops to keep their other prized youth product, Tanguy Kouassi.

Between the two teenagers, Kouassi seemed like the one more destined to leave with the numerous reports linking him to RB Leipzig, however, it appears as though he could be heading to Italy instead.

According to Le10Sport, Kouassi is leaning towards signing with AC Milan, and it makes sense as to why the France international will have a change a heart.

First, the Italian club is undergoing a rebuild. Milan is looking towards giving young players a chance to develop due to ownership issues over the past couple of seasons, and they can’t afford any significant spending.

Then there’s the non-pressure of playing for a club that’s not playing in either the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League. It will allow for a smooth transition as a starter despite Kouassi becoming the youngest PSG player to start in a Champions League fixture this season.

Nonetheless, with Aouchiche having one foot out the door, PSG will do all they can to make sure that Kouassi remains in Paris.
