Bayern Munich Throws Hat in the Ring with PSG and Real Madrid for Arsenal’s Rising Star

On Thursday, a report revealed that Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are monitoring the situation regarding Arsenal’s young talent, Chido Obi-Martin. The teenager has yet to sign a professional contract, so top European clubs are now circling the player.

Arsenal plans to include the young talent Chido Obi-Martin in their first-team squad for the upcoming pre-season tour in the USA. Despite being 16 years old, the Gunners likely want him to know he’s part of their future.

The Premier League side can’t secure a professional contract for the young Dane until he reaches 17, which won’t happen until November. As a result, European teams could take advantage of this window.

According to The Telegraph, Bayern Munich joins PSG and Real Madrid in pursuing the young talent. Obi-Martin’s recent stellar performance, where he recorded seven goals against Norwich City Under-18s in a 9-0 victory, explains the heightened interest in the Arsenal young sensation.

It will be interesting to see how the situation plays out and whether Obi-Martin resists the offers that will come his way.

  1. This rule needs to be changed it’s daft surely not an incentive to progress young talent if you risk losing them before 17 years old and the player themselves get too much too young if sniped with lure of more cash and a promise. Unless I’m missing something 🤷🏻‍♂️

  2. I’ll suggest we cancel striker purchase this season because of this Chido-Obi. Lets retain Nketiah and G Jesus for this coming season and make him aware of our move. When three heavyweights like Real, Bayern and PSG are involved in chasing something, you must handle it with outmost dexterity.
